Art Requirements - Custom Designs

Please submit your artwork in the following formats to avoid artwork charges and to maintain standard production time. Formats other than those specified will be evaluated and artwork charges may apply.

Acceptable file formats

Vector-based files in Adobe Illustrator (version 10 or earlier) or Corel Draw (version 9 or earlier).  PDF files will incur artwork charges.

Acceptable media

CD-ROM disk, or e-mail (artwork@imaging-sciences.com). Please be sure that the PO# and distributor company name are in the subject line. An additional hard copy is recommended to ensure output match.

Color match

PMS colors must be specified on artwork. We provide PMS color matching at no additional charge. Exact color match cannot be guaranteed.

Artwork charges

Charge for artwork not submitted in acceptable format or requiring changes or touch-up is $55.00 (v) per hour, minimum 30.00 (v).

Cancellations/Changes

All changes to an order must be submitted to us in writing and are subject to approval. Once production has begun, orders changed or cancelled will be charged for work rendered.

F.O.B. and Method of Shipment

All shipments are FOB our plant in Willoughby, OH. Freight charges will be added to invoice. Shipments will be made via UPS ground unless otherwise specified at time of order. Handling charge may be applied for other methods of shipment. Imaging Sciences, LLC is not responsible for damage during shipment. Purchase order must specify if shipment insurance is desired (at customer’s expense). Customer must file freight claims directly with carrier.

Overruns/Underruns

Imaging Sciences makes every effort to ship the quantity ordered. However, we reserve the right to overrun or underrun an order by 5% and bill accordingly.

Paper Proofs

One paper proof will be provided at no charge via fax or e-mail when supplied art requires changes (see Art Requirements). All other requests for faxed paper proofs or e-mailed color proofs will result in a $10.00 (v) charge.

Price List - Standard Designs

Price list for standard designs will be provided to ASI/PPAI distributors or retailers with mailed catalog or upon e-mail or fax request. Price list for standard designs is not provided to the general public.

Production Time

Standard production time for custom orders is 15 business days after receipt of order, complete acceptable artwork, artwork approval, if applicable, and deposit, if applicable. Actual shipment date will be estimated with order acknowledgement and will be based on factory schedule. Standard designs are generally in stock in limited quantities. Actual shipment date will be estimated with order acknowledgement based on stock status, imprint time, if applicable, and factory schedule.

Purchase Orders

Orders are accepted via e-mail, fax, or mail/delivery service only. No phone orders will be accepted.

Returns

Customized products are not returnable in the absence of manufacturing defect. REVIEW ALL PRODUCTS UPON RECEIPT. Requests for return due to manufacturing defect must be received within 30 days of shipment. A written return authorization must accompany all returns. Standard designs are returnable only with written return authorization. Return shipment of standard designs will be at customer’s expense, and restocking charge of 25% will apply.

Rush Service

We attempt to accommodate rush orders whenever possible. Additional charges may apply.

Samples

ASI/PPAI distributors and retailers may request up to three no-charge random samples through this website or by fax or e-mail request. We reserve the right to charge for random samples requested by a distributor or retailer in excess of three. There is a charge for all standard design samples, payable by credit card only.

Spec Samples

$40.00 (v) for one spec sample of Funglasses® using artwork complying with Art Requirements above. Spec sample charges payable by credit card only.

Terms

Net 30 upon credit approval on orders up to $1,500 net. Terms on orders over this amount are 30% deposit with purchase order, balance net 30 after shipment with approved credit. Sample and spec sample orders credit card only. Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover accepted.

Trademark Usage

Imaging Sciences presumes clients are authorized to use trademarks sent to us for production. We assume no liability in trademark and/or copyright disputes. Products shown in this catalog appear only to demonstrate product imprint, and do not constitute endorsement by any company of our product line. We reserve the right to use all products in our advertising and display unless otherwise specified at the time of order.
